We understand how distressing toothache can be and will do our best to see any of our registered patients as soon as possible. However, we ask that you telephone the practice between 9am and 12 noon if you need a same day appointment.

If you call between normal working hours and the answer machine picks up, it may be that we are busy with another patient. Please do leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. If it is a non urgent issue you can also email the practice on info@thelyndhurstpractice.co.uk

If you develop toothache when the practice is closed, please call the usual practice number on 023 8028 2876, and the answer machine message will give you the mobile number to call. Usually Sarah will answer the mobile phone but if she is away there will be details of how to contact the on call dentist providing emergency cover. As reception can be variable in the New Forest, please leave your name, contact number and description of your problem on the mobile answer machine and Sarah will call you back.

An out of hours call fee of £120 will be charged along with the cost of any treatment you receive, however if you are a member of the Lyndhurst Dental Practice Care Plan, you will only be asked to pay the cost of the treatment you receive as stated in the dental insurance policy.
