The Lyndhurst Dental Plan

The Lyndhurst Dental Practice is a fully private practice, providing general dentistry to children and adults of all ages.

Many of our patients have joined our Lyndhurst Dental Practice Care Plan which is run by DPAS. It is designed for anyone who wishes to attend the dental practice regularly and wants the peace of mind that their basic preventative needs are covered. We have plans designed for both adults and children.

The Adult Plan costs £19.94 a month and entitles you to one oral assessment a year, including any x-rays required, two hygienist appointments and a 20% discount on any treatment costs. It also provides you with a 24 hour, 365 day worldwide dental emergency helpline and a dental emergency assistance scheme to help you towards costs and treatment in the event of a dental emergency. Any additional treatment not covered by the plan can be paid for separately. There is a one off joining fee of £10 to cover the cost of the administration in setting up the plan.

The Child Plan is for children from aged six to eighteen and costs £6.84 a month. This entitles you to two oral assessments a year, any x-rays required and 50% off routine treatment costs. It also provides you with access to the emergency helpline and dental emergency assistance scheme.

Children under the age of six can join the practice free of charge if they have family members who have joined. They will receive two oral assessments a year but will not be entitled to the free emergency helpline or assistance scheme.

We have also started a Student Plan for full time students between the ages of 19 and 23. It costs £19.94 per month and includes one examination and hygienist appointment a year, a 20% discount on treatment fees, any x-rays required and access to the emergency helpline and dental emergency assistance scheme.

You can join the plan at any point during the year. Most plan members pay monthly by direct debit, however if you wish to pay annually by cheque or credit/debit card, the payment runs from the 1st June. If you wish to join later in the year you can pay for the remaining months until the following May.
